Giselle is originally from Venezuela and has been living in United States since 2001. She recently moved to the Orlando area from Tulsa, Oklahoma, and so far, she is loving the energy, the diversity and the passion for Zumba that the city of Orlando offers. Giselle has been teaching Zumba for about 3 years, but doing it for about six. When she was 5 years old, her mother tried to enroll her in a dance-singing group, but the casting staff refused to let her join the group by stating that she was too young. As the determined woman her mother was, she insisted until she was given the opportunity to prove that her daughter was not too young to dance and be the best at it. That was the beginning of Giselle's dancing career, learning how to dance flamenco, folklore, belly dancing, jazz, ballet, hip hop, ball room, among many other styles.
When she first heard about Zumba, she was really excited to know that it incorporates Latin dances and rhythms; so she fell in love from the very first class and later on, she was motivated by her instructor to become one.
Zumba changed her life in so many ways; it introduced her to the nicest people in town, it allowed her to be more outgoing, gain confidence, and take better care of her health and life choices, as well as help people with their fitness goals while connecting deeply with them and making long-lasting friends.
She is committed to give her students the best time of their day when she teaches Zumba. Giselle wants her students to leave her class craving more ZUMBA, feeling great about what they did and knowing that there is going to be a “next time” with her. She quotes: "I will challenge you and I will make you laugh, I will be silly but serious about your goals and I will be waiting for you in the next class".
Giselle is Zumba certified in basics I, II and Zumba toning; but Z-Toning is her favorite Zumba Specialty class because of the uniqueness of sculpting the body while dancing.
Giselle is a people person and a very friendly instructor, therefore, do not hesitate to approach her if you have any suggestions, questions or feedback to provide.
Both, the RhythmX Team and Giselle are very excited to have her on board and she is eager to get to know each and every one of the RhythmX students and honored to have them in her class.
Giselle would like to welcome all students to her classes with her famous quote: "Shake it like nobody is watching and come to dance your sorrows and worries with me. I bring Fuego to all my classes, so see you next time".
